First, this thread will be used for the GM's to post announcements which pertain to the game in general or specific events.
First Announcement: Costumes are required. NPC Costumes will be very in-depth and detailed, this is to encourage the that the PC"s create realistic and period based costumes which fit to their character. If a PC has no costume, or has a costume, which is deemed inappropriate in any way, they may borrow or rent a costume or part of a costume from the NPC stash. You will not be permitted to borrow an entire costume at every event. If you are having trouble obtaining a costume I suggest you speak with one of the GM's and we will work out a way for you to either rent or buy a costume.
Thank you, that is all for now.

Second announcement: to those of you who have figured this out, and to those of you who would have figured this out eventually, the answer is yes. Currently it works out so that any mage can cast damage 2 spells for nothing. I can tell you right now that this will be revised, however until I get the chance to speak to Captain I'm not sure how we will be solving this little glitch.
update: The glitch was fixed, the lowest you may ever reduce the sp cost of a spell is now 1sp.

Announcement:
We will be accepting donations at anytime, simply talk to a GM about the specifics of what you would like to donate, however Upon Character Creation we will be accepting donations of cash in exchange for creation points. A 5$ donation will get you 1 extra creation point, and you may purchase up to a maximum of 4 creation points in this way. These are in addition to the 10 creation points you will receive to create your character. Other donations are acceptable, such as costuming or weapons, and a list of the most needed items at this time follows.
Belts Fake Plants Red or Black Fabric Face paint Chests Leather Camp Foam Open Cell Foam Printer paper!!!! Small plastic bags
Each item donated will be evaluated on a need basis, in other words if you donate something we are in dire need of, you will get more exp/creation pts then if you donate something we have an abundance of.
Once again let me point out the Opportunity to receive bonus creation points upon character creation. A 5$ donation will get you 1 extra creation point, and you may receive up to 4 creation points in that manor.
Thank you, if you have any questions ask a GM.
Update: List was updated.

Attention Magic Users . . . and any one who might be affected by magic at any point . . .
The Concentrate Feat has been added to our Magic system. This means that a caster must use this feat before combat to gain acess to the 10 step rule. If they do not use this feat before battle or if their concentration is broken at any time in combat then they loose the 10 step rule and must throw packets for all spells. To break a casters concentration you must hit them with enough damage at once (ie damage = 2 + the lvl of concentrate they used) basicly hit them with a high damage feat. This is honor system as is all of combat so the caster's honor bound to start throwing packets when his or her concentration is broken.
Thanks all!!

Just thought I'd give you all a head's up:
1) At one of our last few staff meetings (very productive) we decided to institute "judges" A judge is a pc who has the ability, granted by staff, to make mechanic's clarifications. A judge must come to the staff and request to be made a judge, then pass a short review of the types of questions which may come up, and situations where they may have to find a staff person. Each judge will carry an abbreviated form of the rulebook, known as a judge book. Judges will be distinguishable by an OOG mark or pin which will be worn in a visible place.
2)Item cards have been revamped, and a skill "Identify" is now required to read item cards. There are different levels of Items, as well as different levels of "Identify"
More on these and others at sign in this month.
