When I read the character creation thing it said something about skill levels but I couldn't find any sort of cost or ladder system for skill levels. How do I go about buying skills/feats/etc.?

you would have a 3rd level parry. feats are called like this: Level+feat+dmg(if any)
so you would say "3 parry". 3 parry blocks dmg feats like wound that are 3rd level or lower. Meaning it wouldn't block a 4 wound. at damage feat would be called like "3 wound 5". Meaning its a level 3 feat and it deals 5 damage but a level 3 defensive feat can negate it. dmg=weapon+level one hand weapons deal 1 dmg, 2 hand deal 2, etc...
also, it costs 3 SP to use 3 parry, so theres no point in using it unless you need to. If you have 3 parry, you still have 2 parry and 1 parry. So if someone uses a 1 wound, you only need to use 1 parry. feats cost SP equal to their level. A 5 parry would take 5 SP. To my knowledge, The game is designed this way so that low leveled people can still somewhat compete with high level people, depending on what feats and such they level up and how they conserve their sp. Its also ment to be a low feat game.
