Halfling naming details: -Halflings don't value names too greatly, and, depending on circumstances, may change it many times over the course of their life. -They don't, however, change their clan name unless it becomes necessary. -Halflings sometimes use names with bizarre or seamingly meaningless meanings that seem like no more than a list of pleasant things. Calopee might mean "cheese and riddles" and still be a well-respected halfling name. Of course, it might also mean "the timeless quest"...or both. Halflings enjoy playing with the definitions and might change it just to confuse a friend or a member of another race.
How to combine names: -An "o" or "ee" is often added between the two name fragments. -Female names sometimes double the last consonant and add an "-a" (Furgren becomes Furgrenna). -If you aren't satisfied with a particular combination, try adding "a", "i", or "y" between the name fragments. -Not every combination will sound right. If you arent' satisfied with one, try another.
There are five ways to make a name: -one first name -one first name + one first name -(one first name) + (one last name + one last name) for a first and last name -(one first name + one first name) + (one last name + one last name) for a first and last name -(one first name + one first name) + (one last name + one last name) for a first and earned name
